Improving the well-being of the women, children and families of Ladakh
The key to a better life in Ladakh starts with an education. We raise money not only for scholarships, but to supply these children with the basic necessities and transportation needed to succeed in school.

The mountains and desert of Ladakh are both beautiful and dangerous. If there is a natural disaster, or other emergency, there currently are insufficient support services to address urgent needs. Therefore, we will support local efforts to establish a crisis shelter.

Education is not only important for the children of Ladakh but also for adults who need access to trainings to develop skills they can use to become self-sufficient. We work with local resources and provide training opportunities to fit the needs of those living in Ladakh.

Emergency assistance can take many forms: food, transportation, legal council, child care, clothing, or social support. Our goal is to create a safety net to help meet these immediate needs during a crisis and to help these women, children and families avoid preventable situations while they work through their emergency.
